My Very OWN Maternity Photoshoot

Being the Photographer and rarely the Photographed, I asked my sister, Penny to do the honors and take my very own maternity pictures. Being our 3rd child, I'm so excited that I didn't miss out on having these precious memories documented for our family photo album.

Time for the Spring Shots

I was able to spend some time with this sweet famiy over the weekend. Wanted to share some of my favorites.

 

A Secret Photo Shoot

In November I went out to take a "Secret Photo Shoot" of this family.  These families wanted to take some pictures as Christmas gifts for their mom and dad who live locally.  They also happen to sit RIGHT in front of me at church.  So do you know how hard it was not to let it slip that I spent time with their children and grand-kids? Even the grand-kids were good at keeping the secret and not spilling the beans. I think we are all pretty proud of ourselves for keeping it under wraps until after the holidays.

It seemed after having a really good rain... and I mean REALLY GOOD.. (I was frantically sweeping a flash flood from my front door)the turning Fall leaves became more vibrant and colorful (I'm sure it was because they had a good bath).
I was so glad to be able to go out and take some pictures of some adorable girls and take advantage of the beautiful oranges, reds, and even purple backdrop.
